Trebor Developments have achieved practical completion at Lightning Park Huntingdon. The scheme comprises two units, one of which totalling 126,689 sq ft was pre let to DHL International (UK) Ltd prior to start on site. The unit was completed 6 weeks ahead of programme. A smaller 32,638 sq ft unit, named “Lightning 32”, was developed speculatively and is now fully available and ready for occupation.

Lightning Park is built to an enhanced specification with various sustainable initiatives, including its own lake for staff wellbeing, and has achieved EPC “A”.

Trebor Developments have started on site at Lightning Park Huntingdon for a two-unit scheme comprising 126,689 sq ft and 32,638 sq ft. The larger unit has been pre let to DHL UK Ltd on a long-term lease and has been redesigned to accommodate several bespoke DHL design elements. It is the third deal that Trebor and DHL have agreed together in 24 months.

DHL’s unit was originally intended for speculative development prior to discussions but will now be delivered alongside the smaller speculative unit of 32,638 sq ft, which is fully available to potential occupiers. Main contractor, GMI Construction, are targeting practical completion before the end 2023.

We worked closely with DHL to ensure this new build unit meets their exact requirementand also look forward to delivering a much needed speculative new unit for local occupiers.”.

Trebor Developments have exchanged contracts with DHL UK Ltd on a long term lease for 126,689 sq ft at their Lightning Park Huntingdon scheme. The pre let follows Trebor securing detailed planning consent for two units on the scheme in December 2022, whilst a subsequent non material amendment has been agreed to incorporate several bespoke DHL design elements. It is the third deal that Trebor and DHL have agreed together in 24 months.

Lightning Park comprises 10 acres of commercial development land that Trebor acquired from St John’s College in 2021. DHL’s unit was originally intended for speculative development prior to discussions but will now be delivered alongside a smaller speculative unit of 32,200 sq ft. GMI Construction have been selected as main contractor and will start on site with both units this Spring, targeting practical completion before the end 2023.

Trebor Developments LLP have submitted a detailed planning application for a 126,689 sq ft industrial and logistics unit at Lightning Park, Huntingdon. The site already has detailed consent for a 32,200 sq ft unit.

Both units will be developed on a speculative basis and will be on site in Summer 2022 targeting practical completion in Q2 2023, subject to planning.
